From an early age, service was not just something Ed practiced — it was part of who he was. Growing up, he helped his mother sell food and made it a priority to share meals with those in need. When he later immigrated to New York City, that commitment to serving others continued, both in his family’s culinary business and in the communities around him.
After graduating from culinary school, Ed spent 20 years in the food industry. Even while building his career, he remained dedicated to helping those facing hardship. Four years ago, he founded Chef’s Acts of Love (El Chef Obra de Amor), a humanitarian WhatsApp community supporting families with sick children in his home country, as well as mothers in Venezuela and Mexico. Through storytelling and community collaboration, the group mobilized real, immediate assistance for those in need.
Ed also holds a degree in Business Administration and completed specialized training in real estate investment and sales. While working in the restaurant industry, he began building his real estate career part-time — learning the business, understanding contracts, and sharpening his negotiation skills.
After a car accident made long hours in restaurant kitchens physically difficult, Ed transitioned fully into real estate. What could have been a setback became clarity. Real estate allowed him to continue doing what he has always done best: protect people, advocate fiercely, and guide them through meaningful life decisions.
Today, Ed is a full-time real estate professional serving New York City, including Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Westchester. He is known for his hands-on coordination, relentless follow-up, and commitment to keeping every transaction moving smoothly. Ed personally communicates with lenders, attorneys, inspectors, and listing agents to ensure transparency, accountability, and strong execution from contract to closing.
Clients work with Ed because he treats every investment as if it were his own. He negotiates strategically, protects his clients’ interests, and often secures additional benefits that help reduce closing costs. His approach combines compassion with discipline — heart with structure.
